Update: The Cardinal lost Brook and Robin Lopez to the NBA but has managed to make do without the two 7-footers under first-year Coach Johnny Dawkins. Guard Anthony Goods (17.3) and forward Lawrence Hill (13.9) have picked up the scoring slack. The Trojans are only eighth in the Pacific 10 Conference in free-throw percentage (67.5%). What they lack in quality they make up for in quantity. USC’s 440 free-throw attempts are third in the conference behind Washington (528) and Oregon (464).
