A 34-year-old man and his two sons were killed Monday when their San Bernardino County home caught fire, authorities said. The man’s 33-year-old wife managed to break open a window and escape the flames with their 10-year-old daughter, who was in critical condition.
Firefighters responded to the 16200 block of El Cajon Drive in Hesperia about 1 a.m. by a neighbor who called 911, said county fire spokeswoman Tracey Martinez.
The father and the couple’s 9-year-old son were pronounced dead at the scene. Their 4-year-old died in a hospital.
