Re “Racial hatred runs family out of town,” June 4
Your story about the vandalism of Channise Davy’s home really saddened me. I was wondering if anybody has thought of setting up a fund to help her family move somewhere better?
Things like this shouldn’t happen. Knowing that people support her might help her get over the trauma of it.

It is a tragic commentary that the currents of racism lash out in the “City of Hope” -- Duarte.
This serves as an ugly reminder that we, as a society, need to redouble our efforts to discover a cure for the ravages of prejudice that continue to plague people in our communities.

Great article; one question: Where is the outrage?
Where are any of our community leaders on this?
If this was in a mostly white neighborhood, there would be an uproar, and rightfully so.
It’s very disheartening.
