In for a spell

For a moment there I thought I was reading a story about Brandon Jennings [June 24]. Then I realized Chuck Culpepper was actually auditioning to be a judge in next year’s National Spelling Bee. By properly using words like insouciant, esoteric, dregs and nadir in sentences, Mr. Culpepper certainly has the qualifications.
