Re “It can’t hurt,” editorial, April 28
Your endorsement of Proposition 1F in the upcoming special election has me completely baffled. By your own admission, the proposition “doesn’t seem harmful, though it seems unlikely to help much either,” a statement that brands the proposition as nothing more than legislative nostril excavation.
A yes vote on this measure not only defies reason but would be affirmation that Sacramento’s accomplishment of nothing is precisely what the electorate wants. Is this the message we want to send? Would this be the response of an informed electorate?
