Fire crews put out a blaze in an industrial building near the Los Angeles River east of downtown Sunday morning.
A call came in at 8:37 a.m. that a one-story building on South Mission Road, between the 6th Street and 7th Street bridges, was engulfed in smoke.
It took 132 firefighters 43 minutes to extinguish the flames, said Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported. Most of the damage was to the roof and interior of the building, which was under renovation.
The cause is under investigation.
