Bank of America Corp. said Chief Executive Kenneth D. Lewis won’t get a salary or bonus for 2009.
Lewis accepted a recommendation from Kenneth Feinberg, the special U.S. pay master, said Robert Stickler, a spokesman for the Charlotte, N.C.-based lender.
“Lewis felt that it was not in the best interest of Bank of America to get involved in a dispute with the pay master,” Stickler said.
