Chicago 4, at Pittsburgh 2: Derek Lee hit two home runs for the Cubs, who helped assure the Pirates of a 17th consecutive losing season, the longest for any team in the four major North American pro team sports.
at Houston 4, Philadelphia 3: Hunter Pence hit two home runs and the Astros completed a four-game sweep.
