Longtime KABC-AM (790) talk-show host Doug McIntyre will bid farewell to listeners during his 5-10 a.m. weekday show today. He’ll be replaced Friday by Peter Tilden, who has worked at a variety of L.A. radio stations since 1990.
David G. Hall, director of operations at the Citadel-owned station, told staffers in a memo that McIntyre would be “doing some work for WABC in New York in the short term, and working on a very exciting future project on KABC.”
Tilden spent most of the 1990s at KABC, then for several years was morning host at KZLA-FM (93.9) until it ended its country music format.
