No one in Cleveland is paying attention to the Indians, not until LeBron James is done for the season. Yet the Indians brought some of this civic neglect upon themselves, trading the reigning Cy Young Award winner in consecutive seasons. So what do they have to show for CC Sabathia and Cliff Lee? Of the eight prospects acquired for the aces, three started the season in the major leagues. Outfielder Michael Brantley hit .156 before the Indians sent him back to the minors. Catcher Lou Marson, expected to yield soon to former Dodgers prospect Carlos Santana, is batting .103. And first baseman Matt La Porta, the jewel in the deals, is batting .208 and has one run batted in.
