Dodgers: Week ahead
Monday through Wednesday: at Arizona
Friday through Sunday: at San Diego
Manny Ramirez couldn’t have picked a better time to come off the disabled list. Not only are the last-place Dodgers wading back into division play, but they’re doing it in a ballpark and against a team that Ramirez has abused. Ramirez is hitting .488 lifetime at Chase Field and .429 against the Diamondbacks, his best marks in any stadium or against any single team. Want another harbinger of good news? In their first two seasons under Joe Torre, the Dodgers won nearly 60% of their games against division opponents and, beginning with Colorado on Sunday, 15 of their next 23 games are against National League West teams.
