Special to the Los Angeles Times
MedCenter’s Talking Alarm Clock and Medication Reminder ($34.95) reminds you when to take your pills.
At the appointed time (you can set up to four a day), a female voice announces which daily dose to take and keeps repeating the command until you press the “alarm acknowledged” button.
The big LCD date and time display and large control buttons are helpful for those with limited vision or dexterity. The device runs on two included AA batteries.
Info: MedCenter System, (866) 600-3244.
