Windsor Square Victorian of film fame lists at $6.5 million

If your weekend viewing list includes “Willard,” “Two Moon Junction,” “18 Again,” “Out on a Limb” or “Nightingales,” you’ll be seeing this Windsor Square estate, which has come on the market at $6.5 million.
Built in 1902, the Los Angeles landmark has seen such stars walk through its doors as Ernest Borgnine, Shirley MacLaine, John Goodman and Jeff Bridges, among others.
The popular filming location retains many of its period details and extensive woodwork. Some 9,900 square feet of living space includes eight bedrooms, four bathrooms, two guesthouses and a wine cellar. Fireplaces grace the foyer, living and dining rooms, the library and the master bedroom.
The three-story Victorian has an attic and a basement.
The palatial home, designed by Shrine Auditorium architect John C. Austin, was moved to the nearly half-acre site in 1924.
The house previously sold in 1986 for $725,000. It is also available for lease at $29,000 a month.
