It took a year, but Cody Simpson has finally found a buyer for his West Hollywood home. The singer-songwriter’s three-story townhouse has sold for $1.35 million, down $45,000 from his asking price, records show.
One of six units in a gated complex, the 1,839-square-foot home was renovated during Simpson’s four years of ownership. Hardwood lines the common areas, which include a step-down living room with a fireplace and a kitchen with a breakfast bar.
Two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a third-story loft fill out the rest of the floor plan.
In addition, there are four outdoor spaces: a ground-floor patio, a dining terrace, a master suite balcony and a rooftop deck. Down below, there’s a two-car garage.
Suzette Abbott and Enzo Ricciardelli of Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing. Christopher Ryder of Compass represented the buyer.
Since being discovered on YouTube in 2009, Simpson, 22, has released three studio albums, the most recent of which, “Free,” was produced by Cisco Adler. He started his own record label, Coast House, in 2015 and formed the band Cody Simpson and the Tide in 2017.
Records show he bought the home in 2015 for $1.18 million.
