Ryan Serhant, who stars on Bravo’s real estate reality show “Million Dollar Listing New York,” has bought a penthouse in New York City’s Soho area for an estimated $3.7 million.
The unit, which occupies the entire ninth floor of a post-war building, had been marketed for $4.1 million starting in March with a price drop and a price bump since then, reported the Real Deal blog, which also revealed the sales price.
The 1,895-square-foot penthouse has terrace space off the living room and master bedroom. Floor-to-ceiling windows, three bedrooms, a home office and 2.5 bathrooms with heated floors are among other features.
The sleek kitchen has white lacquer cabinets, terrazzo flooring and marble accent walls. Contrasting dark leather-clad cabinets and under cabinet lighting add to the ultra-modern vibe.
The penthouse is accessed by a keyed elevator. There’s a doorman, and pets are allowed.
Serhant, 30, a Nest Seekers International agent, has been pretty comfortable playing himself on “Million Dollar Listing New York” for the last two years. He is also an actor and was on “As the World Turns” from 2007 to 2008. He’s in the recent comic film “While We’re Young.”
Brown Harris Stevens Select, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, had the listing.
In a made-for-reality-TV plot twist, Serhant and his former assistant, Olivia Robertson, now have the listing on the building’s remaining unsold penthouse, which is priced at $6.4 million.
