Home of the Week: A newly built post-and-beam by the late Donald Wexler

It was more than a decade ago that Donald Wexler originally drew up plans for this polished post-and-beam in Palm Springs’ famed Movie Colony East neighborhood. The Midcentury Modern architect, nicknamed “the Man of Steel” for his steel-and-glass houses, returned to update the project prior to his passing in 2015. Consulting architect Lance O’Donnell completed the home in Wexler’s vision later that year. Walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, Terrazzo floors and an indoor water feature are among details of note.
