Kate Walsh puts Los Feliz estate on the market

Actress Kate Walsh has listed her Spanish-style estate in Los Feliz at $4,295,000.
The gated house, built in 1929, retains original details such as an intricately tiled main hall and staircase, arched windows and passageways and stenciled beamed ceilings. But the two-story home has been updated to include a combined kitchen-family room, two walk-in closets in the master bedroom and upstairs laundry. Oversized living and formal dining rooms, a breakfast room, a den/media room, a wine room, five fireplaces and four en suite bedrooms fill nearly 6,000 square feet in the main house.
The one-third-acre grounds have a pool house with a bathroom, a swimming pool with spa, an outdoor fireplace, an outdoor cooking center, an al fresco dining area and a gated circular driveway. Walsh used the porte-cochere for parking and converted the garage into a gym and office.
Walsh, 42, stars as Dr. Addison Montgomery on “Private Practice” (2007-present), a spinoff of “Grey’s Anatomy,” on which she played the same character from 2005. She will co-star in the upcoming indie film “Waska.”
The house was purchased in 2007 for $4.75 million, according to public records.
The listing agent is Billy Rose of Prudential California Realty, Beverly Hills, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
