TV ratings: NBC tops key demo with ‘The Voice,’ ‘Blacklist’

NBC topped the key 18-to-49-year-old demographic in ratings on Monday night with help from “The Voice” and “The Blacklist.”
The network’s shows were the first and second most-watched programs of the night in the key demo, according to Nielsen.
Though down 9% from last week, “The Voice” was No. 1 with a rating of 3.2 in the key demo. The singing competition was second most-watched overall with about 11.4-million viewers.
The fall finale of “The Blacklist” was up 4% from last week with a rating of 2.5 in the key demo. It averaged 9.7-million viewers.
NBC posted a 3.0 rating in the key demo and 10.8-million viewers.
Meanwhile, ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” still danced its way to the top overall. The show averaged 13.4-million viewers, making it the most-watched program of the night. It was fourth in the key demo and up 5% from last week with a rating of 2.1.
Also on the network, “Castle” was up 6% from its last original episode with a rating of 1.7 in the key demo. The show averaged 9.7-million viewers.
ABC was the most-watched network with 12.1-million viewers. It tied with Fox for second most-watched in the key demo with a rating of 1.9.
Fox’s “Gotham” was the third most-watched in the key demo with a rating of 2.2. It averaged 6.3-million viewers.
“Sleepy Hollow” stayed even with last week in the key demo with a rating of 1.5. It was up 2% in total viewers, averaging 4.6 million.
CBS rounded out the top three most-watched networks of the night with 8.4-million viewers. It was fourth in the key demo with a rating of 1.7.
“2 Broke Girls” was down 14% from last week and tied its series low with a rating of 1.9 in the key demo. It averaged 7.6-million viewers.
“The Millers” also tied its series low with a rating of 1.5 in the key demo. About 6.5-million people tuned in.
“NCIS” stayed even with last week with a rating of 1.5. It averaged 8.2-million viewers.
“Scorpion” earned the highest rating of the CBS shows, averaging a 2.0 in the key demo and 10-million viewers. It was the third most-watched program of the night.
