As the sounds of rock music permeated the air, partygoers danced between the sofas at the Weinstein Co./Netflix shindig, which took place in a tent beside the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday night.
Taylor Schilling of “Orange Is the New Black,” in one of the night’s more plunging gowns -- can you say trend? -- mingled with Uzo Aduba, Laverne Cox and other cast-mates and friends on one side of the room, while Rooney Mara sat perched on a sofa on the other, along with Cate Blanchett, cinematographer Edward Lachman, composer Carter Burwell and others from their film “Carol.”
Having won for best original score, “The Hateful Eight” contingent shared another sofa. Seated not far from Quentin Tarantino, Jennifer Jason Leigh described the experience of being on Tarantino’s set as “magical.” Said the supporting actress nominee, “I feel so lucky to have been cast in the film – it was a great role.”

Always a popular stop for party-hoppers after the Golden Globes, the affair offered more than refreshments and a chance to catch up with celebrities. A team from Laura Mercier stood at the ready throughout the evening to freshen makeup and apply any necessary touch-ups. And then there was the chocolate mixology bar.
As the evening wore on, “Wolf Hall” alums Damian Lewis -- spotted earlier leaving the InStyle/ Warner Bros. affair -- and Mark Rylance -- first seen at Fox’s bash -- made an appearance at the shindig as well. (Rylance was also nominated for “Bridge of Spies.”)
So what did Lewis think of Golden Globes night? “It was sensational,” he called out as he rushed past.
