Crossbones Kate’s (Claire Foy) abduction during a trading mission makes Blackbeard and Lowe (John Malkovich, Richard Coyle) partners in a rescue attempt, as they fear she’ll reveal the island’s location to William Jagger (Julian Sands) in this new episode. 10 p.m. NBC

Shutter Island Director Martin Scorsese reunited with Leonardo DiCaprio for this grim 2010 adaptation by Dennis Lehane. The actor plays a personally haunted federal marshal investigating an island asylum that an inmate (Emily Mortimer) has vanished from.
