Rooney Mara gets girlie for film screening with Casey Affleck

We got pretty used to seeing actress Rooney Mara looking pretty fierce when she hit red carpets to promote “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.” She was definitely reminding people of her character, dark and gothic computer hacker Lisbeth Salander, in that 2011 film.

So it was a bit of a surprise when she arrived at a Los Angeles Film Festival screening of “Ain’t Them Bodies Saints” a few days ago looking very girlie in a JW Anderson ruffled bustier and skirt, with Jimmie Choo sandals, her hair in a topknot and some midriff showing as she posed with Casey Affleck.

The new film, in which she stars with Affleck, Ben Foster and Keith Carradine, is due to open in August.
