The modern Craftsman was in escrow in 10 days and is expected to close by the end of May. He purchased the house in 2007 for $2,385,000, according to public records.
Among rooms in his 2,104 square feet are a kitchen/great room with skylights, a master suite with an office, two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are fireplaces in the living room and patio area. The detached garage has been converted to a studio.
Margulies, 43, won a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her starring role in the legal drama “The Good Wife” (2009-11) and an Emmy for “ER,” on which she co-starred from 1994-2000, returning for an episode in the final season in 2009.
O’Neill, 64, is a regular on the sitcom “Modern Family” (2009-11) and starred in “Married With Children” (1987-97).
Leah Lail of Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills East office had the listing on Margulies’ house. Dawn Robertson and Nancie Richards of Keller Williams Realty, Beverly Hills, represent O’Neill in his sale and purchase.
