Interactive: Where Los Angeles city employees live
- Share via
More than two-thirds of city of Los Angeles employees live outside of L.A., but most are concentrated nearby, a Times analysis of city employment records shows. Fire Department employees are the most dispersed, with flexible schedules allowing some to commute from out of state. Employees of the mayor's and City Council offices are more likely to live in the city. Fewer than 60 employees live outside the area of detail shown in this interactive map.
