The 1925 Hall of Justice in downtown Los Angeles was rededicated after undergoing extensive renovations, having been red-tagged following the Northridge earthquake
George Meyer, 86, a former Los Angeles County jailer, looks at a photograph showing cult leader Charles Manson being escorted to court at the Hall of Justice in 1971. Meyer, who attended today’s reopening of the Hall of Justice, said he remembers securing Manson after his many court appearances.
