Two people shot on 91 Freeway in Bellflower, CHP says

Two people were shot Thursday night on the westbound 91 Freeway near Bellflower Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said.
The shooting was reported about 8:45 p.m, the CHP said. Patrol units were responding.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the violence or how the shooting transpired.
Two victims were taken to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The CHP said officers were looking for two male suspects.
All westbound lanes except the car-pool lane were closed on the 91 Freeway.
Television news footage showed vehicles that appeared to be involved in a crash near the shooting scene.
