Manhunt underway following UC Irvine stabbing

Authorities are searching for a 22-year-old man following an early morning stabbing Friday at UC Irvine, authorities said.
The stabbing occurred at 3 a.m. Friday at 6400 Vista Del Campo Road on the eastern edge of the university campus, police said in a news release.
The suspect was identified as Krist Porayanee, 22. Police described him as standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds, with black and brown tattoos on both arms.
Police believe he has left campus and may be in a 2013 four-door silver Audi with a California license plate of 7AUA604.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or the suspect is asked to call 911 or UC Irvine police dispatch at (949) 824-5223.
Information was not immediately available on the victim.
