One man killed, another wounded in Palmdale gunfight

A gunfight Saturday night in Palmdale left one man dead and another critically wounded, authorities said.
The men exchanged fire at about 7:40 p.m. in the 5600 block of Magda Court, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The shooting followed an unspecified altercation, the department said.
A 70-year-old man was pronounced dead at a hospital, where the other man, 39, was in critical but stable condition, deputies said.
The names of the men were not released and no further information was available.
