Reader Photo: The lone rider

Luis Moreno captured this image while having lunch with his family in Pico Rivera.
After spotting a few people riding horses nearby, he took out his camera. He knew he had his shot when a lone rider was all that remained in his frame.
“This photo represents everything we love about California: its beautiful weather, awesome landscapes and the ability to go from mountains to oceans,” he said.
Moreno used a Sony a6000 with a telephoto lens to make this image on Jan. 23.
