‘Wolfpack’ to screen in free film series at Laguna Beach’s Festival of Arts

The First Friday Flicks movie series begins with a free screening of “The Wolfpack” Feb. 5 at the Festival of Arts.
The 90-minute, R-rated film “follows the six Angulo brothers, who have spent their entire lives locked away from society,” according to a news release. “All they know of the outside world is gleaned from the films they watch obsessively and recreate meticulously. For years this has served as a productive way to stave off loneliness — but when one of the brothers escapes, everything changes.”
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the film begins at 7 p.m. in the 250-seat Forum theater, at 650 Laguna Canyon Road. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Laguna Beach residents Steve Chadima and Mark Porterfield covered facility and movie rental costs through their donations.
