Orange County Fire Authority officials rescued a 19-year-old by helicopter from Lover’s Cove in South Laguna on Tuesday.
The man’s injuries were not severe and he was transported by air to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.
The Laguna Beach Fire Department received a call at 3:28 p.m. and requested aid from the county because of the difficult terrain in the area, near Seacliff Drive, Laguna Fire Chief Jeff LaTendresse said.
“The location prevented crews from carrying the patient out,” he said.
