Community college women’s volleyball: OCC wins again

SANTA ANA - The Orange Coast College women’s volleyball team scored
its 15th straight victory and ninth consecutive Orange Empire Conference
win with a 30-15, 30-13, 30-15 OEC decision over host Santa Ana
Wednesday.
Daylyn Kelly, a Costa Mesa High product, led the Pirates (15-0, 9-0 in
the OEC) with eight kills, while Brett Bond chipped six. Rachelle Suesoff
contributed 16 assists in the victory that sent Santa Ana to 1-12, 0-9.
The Pirates, ranked No. 1 in Southern California and No. 2 in the
state, will host Irvine Valley, Friday at 7 p.m.
