Baseball: Chuck Berrington is new coach at Carson

Chuck Berrington, a former head coach at Westlake, Taft and Fairfax, has been named baseball coach at Carson.
Berrington hasn’t coached since 2010.
He replaces Mike Kline, who resigned but will remain as athletic director.
“I think it’s a great situation,” Berrington said. “I’m refreshed.”
Berrington has spent the last few years helping raise his teenage daughter.
