Boys’ basketball: No Mater Dei for Vance Jackson

After earlier this summer saying he was headed to Santa Ana Mater Dei, Vance Jackson said Wednesday he would be attending Prolific Prep, a basketball academy in Northern California.
Jackson played the last two seasons at St. John Bosco.
He’s a 6-foot-8 senior and considered one of the top players in California.
