Boys’ basketball: Point guard Ellis Salahuddin is at Westchester

Ellis Salahuddin, a starting point guard for Gardena Serra’s Southern Section Division 4AA championship team last season as a sophomore, is now playing for Westchester after moving. He played for the first time earlier this week.
Salahuddin originally transferred to Orangewood Academy in the fall.
His arrival only adds to a powerful Westchester team that entered Friday’s Western League game against Fairfax with a 16-4 record.
