Cross country: Jack Van Scoter leads Flintridge Prep at Mt. SAC

After the first day of the two-day Mount San Antonio Cross Country Invitational, Jack Van Scoter of Flintridge Prep is feeling good.
He led the Rebels to the championship of the Division 5 sweeps on Friday, finishing first in 15 minutes, 20 seconds.
William Ernst of San Luis Obispo had the fastest time of the day in Division 4, winning in 15:07.
In girls, Malibu’s Caroline Pietrzk game won Division 4 in 17:26. JSerra won the girls’ team title.
