Football: Another Diamont quarterback is arriving at Venice

Longtime Venice football Coach Angelo Gasca knows how to work wonders with quarterbacks, and come fall, he’s going to have another promising QB in a Venice uniform.

Luca Diamont, the younger brother of Venice grad Zander Diamont, is set to arrive for his freshman year.

Zander was an All-City quarterback for the Gondoliers and is now at Indiana. Luca has been training for years and could be ready to start as a freshman. If not, getting four years under Gasca will be quite a treat.
