Football: Coliseum could be site for City Section finals

City Section Commissioner John Aguirre said he has a meeting scheduled for this week with officials from USC to discuss using the Coliseum for the divisional championship games in football.
The City Section hasn’t played at the Coliseum since the 2010 season. Cost issues have been the main reason.
But Aguirre said he’s optimistic that agreement can be reached. If a contract is signed, the City Section would host the Division I, II and III finals at the Coliseum on Saturday, Dec. 6.
