From Mission Viejo to Santa Margarita to Calabasas. Keyshawn Johnson Jr. sure is learning about school fight songs.
The sophomore receiver started the season at Mission Viejo, played in the first game, then went to Santa Margarita for a couple of days and now he’s at Calabasas, where his father, Keyshawn Johnson Sr., used to be a neighbor of Justin Bieber.
To be eligible, he will have to move with his family unit to a new residence.
According to the Southern Section website, his eligibility is under review.
First-year Coach Casey Clausen has Calabasas at 2-0.
“We’re excited,” Clausen said.
Johnson won’t practice for the first time until Monday. Clausen said it will be up to him to earn a spot in the lineup. He said the family is moving back into the Calabasas district.
