Football: Los Angeles sets up showdown with Narbonne by improving to 4-0

Los Angeles (4-0) is ready to take on the City Section’s No. 1 team after knocking off Hamilton, 35-7, on Friday afternoon.
The Romans opened a 12-0 halftime lead and never looked back. They have one of the best defensive lines in the City Section with the trio of Martin Andrus, Chris Green and Pierre Hayes.
Running back Chris Dormer had a 25-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Vincent Whitlock added a 43-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Isiah Johnson. Dormer added second touchdown run in the second half.
Los Angeles will play at Narbonne next Friday.
Franklin improved to 5-0 in winning its Northern League opener over Mashall, 28-0. Quarterback Mario Bobadilla passed for three touchdowns and David Telles ran for one TD and caught another TD.
