Football: Palisades ends 15-year streak against Venice

In a year of streakbusters, Palisades has become the latest football team to end a streak.
The Dolphins had lost 15 consecutive years to Venice but finally beat the Gondoliers, 14-7, on Friday night, leaving the Western League in a three-way tie for first place among Venice, Palisades and Westchester.
Jonah Manheim and Marrio Lofton scored touchdowns for Palisades.
El Camino Real won its first outright West Valley League since 1980.
Grant finished 10-0 in the regular season and won the East Valley League title.
San Fernando won the Valley Mission League title by pulling out a 16-13 win over Sylmar. Alec Messing made a 35-yard field goal in the final seconds.
