Football: San Fernando to open against Sierra Canyon

Two time defending City Section Division II champion San Fernando will open its football season on Aug. 28 at home against Chatsworth Sierra Canyon.
The Tigers also have games at Taft, at Sun Valley Poly and home against Arleta before a showdown game against Sylmar at home.
Arleta, under new Coach Bill Coan, will face Eagle Rock, El Camino Real and Roosevelt before opening league play against Monroe and Verdugo Hills. Arleta plays San Fernando on Oct. 10.
