Girls’ basketball: Chaminade prevails in Mission League first-place battle

Chaminade held on for a 48-47 win over Alemany on Thursday night in a battle for first place in the Mission League for girls’ basketball.
Chaminade (17-3, 4-0) received 11 points apiece from Devin Stanback and Christa Fandino. Alemany dropped to 16-5 and 3-1.
