Golf: Long Beach Wilson, Westlake, Palm Desert, Servite advance to regional

Long Beach Wilson, Westlake, Palm Desert and Servite are the four teams from the Southern Section that advanced to the CIF/SCGA Southern State Regional championship in golf.
Wilson led the way on Thursday at Mission Hills Country Club with a score of 372. Next was Westlake at 373. The regional qualifier will be May 26 at Brookside.
The top 28 individual players also advance. Leading the way with a 69 was Norman Xiong of Temescal Canyon. Justin Egelske of Westlake was second with a 70.
