Track & Field: Corrin is top qualifier in long jump

Harvard-Westlake sophomore Courtney Corrin leaped 19 feet, 11 inches to take first place at today’s state prelims in Clovis. Margaux Jones from Redlands was second at 20-05.75 and Agoura’s Tara Davis was third with a distance of 20-03.25.

UCLA-bound Stamatia Scarvelis was the top qualifier in both the discus (158-11) and shot put (52-01.75). She will try for her third state shot put title Saturday.
