Mo Farah drawn further into Alberto Salazar doping controversy

Allegations continue to mount against famed track coach Alberto Salazar and the star runners he trains.
A Thursday report in the Daily Mail alleges that Mo Farah, a British athlete who is one of Salazar’s star pupils, risked being sanctioned for missing two drug tests in the run-up to the 2012 Olympics, where he won two gold medals.
Farah’s attorney reportedly did not reply to a request for comment.
Salazar has come under scrutiny this month because of reports by the BBC and ProPublica that, among other things, allege he directed his athletes to take performance-enhancing drugs and put American runner Galen Rupp, a silver medalist in 2012, on a regimen of steroids at a young age.
A former long-distance runner, Salazar has more recently served as coach of the prestigious Nike Oregon Project and as an unpaid consultant to British track and field.
He and Rupp have denied any wrongdoing.
