Update: Stuck in last place in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference, Chivas USA has not won a game since March 30. But the club lately has shown signs of stabilizing, earning ties in its last three games, including two on the road. Chivas USA also now has the services of veteran defenseman Carlos Bocanegra, who recently signed with the team. Philadelphia is fourth in the MLS’ Eastern Conference, but only four points behind the first-place Montreal Impact.
