As Oregon and Florida State battled in a College Football Playoff semifinal game at the Rose Bowl, viewers attempting to stream the game on ESPN’s WatchESPN app during the first half found themselves fighting error messages and staring at blank screens.

The television network is also broadcasting the other semifinal game between Alabama (12-1) and Ohio State (12-1) in the Sugar Bowl later today. That game will also be available via the WatchESPN app.

ESPN spokesman Josh Krulewitz said the network was aware of the issues and was working on a resolution, according to the Associated Press.

At halftime, Oregon led Florida State, 18-13.

The stream became available again for viewers shortly before the start of the second half.

The National Championship game will be played on Jan. 12 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
