Johnny Manziel got the highest score among top quarterbacks in the NFL draft on the Wonderlic test, according to multiple reports.
The Wonderlic is an exam used by the NFL to test a player’s problem-solving skills.
Manziel’s ranking and score were reported by former NFL scout and current San Francisco radio host John Middlekauff and the NFL Network’s Albert Breer.
I’ve been told Johnny Football had the highest wonderlic test of all the top QB’s in this years draft— John Middlekauff (@JohnMiddlekauff) April 10, 2014
At the combine, Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel rang up an impressive score of 32 on the Wonderlic, I’m told. Should help his cause.— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) April 11, 2014
Interestingly, as a student at Texas A&M, Manziel took nearly all of his classes online after winning the Heisman Trophy in 2012.
Apparently that online education served him well.
