Super Bowl: Broncos’ Wesley Woodyard ready for the cold
- Share via
Denver Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard is ready for the cold weather expected for Sunday’s Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Broncos lost to the New England Patriots in November in a game that was played in 22-degree temperatures.
Forecasts call for temperatures in the 30s on Sunday. Woodyard has a strategy for dealing with the elements.
“Once you figure out a point in your mind that you’re cold, that’s when it gets you,” he said. “So you just have to block it out and be into the moment.”
Woodyard did not wear sleeves against the Patriots.
Regardless of the weather, Woodyard has an ideal place for the Super Bowl.
“Right here,” he said, “right now.”
