UCLA baseball: Pitcher Cody Poteet named national player of week

UCLA pitcher Cody Poteet on Monday was named the national player of the week by Collegiate Baseball.
Poteet threw a two-hit shutout, striking out 13, in a 5-0 victory over Michigan on Sunday. He is 1-1 with a 2.81 earned-run average in three starts this season.
The Bruins, the defending national champions, are 7-4 this season.
